Art sprouts

Real art by real kids.

Real art by real kids.

We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to express their creativity, especially kids. That’s why we created ArtSprouts, a platform that helps the youth in our communities spread their own creativity through art. Each piece in our gallery is created by a student artist. Some are up for sale for affordable prices that people and businesses. can buy. 15% of the profits will go to youth art related charities and other community organizations.

ArtSprouts is also involved in a number of collaborations with fellow non-profits working to improve their communities. These projects involve painting a mural to enliven the city of San Francisco, sending cards to retirement homes, and hosting community-wide art lessons, and many more. All of these projects are youth-based, and all artists on ArtSprouts have the opportunity to get involved.

Right now, we’re keeping it local– just school districts in the San Francisco Bay Area. But as ArtSprouts expands, we hope to bring our platform nationwide, especially to underprivileged communities where kids don’t have the opportunity to share their artwork.

Our gallery

Currently, our gallery exhibits artworks from over 100 talented student artists. Each piece is crafted using a variety of mediums—ranging from traditional painting and drawing, all the way to photography and 3-dimensional installation pieces! Additionally, some of the works are up for sale. 15% of profits go to youth art related charities. Most of the art is created by high school students—but don’t underestimate their creativity and skills! Click on the button below to explore these students’ amazing works.

Founder

Bailey fu

I am currently a Senior from Los Altos High School, and I founded ArtSprouts as a way for student artists to spread their creativity by sharing art on an online platform. This idea soon evolved as I learned that many kids from underprivileged communities did not even have the means to create art in their school’s underfunded –or even nonexistent– art programs. ArtSprouts is now a platform that student artists can use to not only exhibit art, but also sell art with a portion of the profits going to youth art programs and charities. Now, during the current pandemic, I am working with numerous organizations to help COVID-19 relief. Beyond my work for ArtSprouts, I love to create art myself! My favorite mediums include charcoal and acrylic paint!
