Community-wide art lessons

ArtSprouts was recently sponsored by Compassion Week (compassionweeklosaltos.org) to host and teach a series of community-wide art lessons. Each lesson was taught by a unique artist from ArtSprouts, and over the span of the lessons, we brought together over 60 community members, with participants ranging from kindergarteners to adults! In the end, we created beautiful paintings that were all donated to local senior homes (The Terraces Retirement Community, Los Altos, and Atria Senior Living, Sunnyvale). We hope that these paintings were able to bring a little more beauty and joy into the lives of our elderly community members during these difficult times.

Our lessons took place over zoom, but we hope to continue to teach these art lessons in person in the future! For now, please enjoy these pictures of our wonderful community members and the beautiful art they created!
